Nice pool, excellent and lovely location up on the riverbank. Efficient, amiable staff towards all guests. Good sized and recently refurbished rooms with a great view of the lake.

We had a junior suite, the beds were super comfortable and huge, we slept great. The pool is quite big for a hotel pool and we were almost always alone there.

Without a car definitely not recommended, the drive to La Fortuna takes about 20 minutes, but is easy to drive.

The staff are courteous. The place has a fabulous river, birds, and iguanas. The souvenir shop offers value for money. The owner greets and assists guests at the botanical garden. It's a superb experience!

Nothing to dislike.

We had an incredible time staying at this hotel surrounded by amazing nature. The location is perfect, with a small pond in the butterfly house that is overstocked with colorful fish. We enjoyed delicious meals at the restaurant, where we were amazed to see 6 to 8 employees just standing around. The view from our room was stunning, overlooking the beautiful bushes along the sides of the restaurant.

The bathroom amenities could be improved.

Pros": The value for money at this place was amazing! The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view from the porch. The location, surrounded by nature and tranquility, was perfect. The staff treated us excellently, making us feel welcome and taken care of.

The rooms in the hotel where airy. The location was particularly good and beautiful, for example, expressway was close to the venue. It also was close to a rainforest and a river.

The gardens at this quiet resort are beautiful and perfect for a relaxing stroll. I was amazed by the 5 tennis fields, including indoor courts, which is a rare find in Costa Rican resorts. The swimming pools were enjoyable, just be sure to check the cleanliness of the jacuzzi before hopping in. If you're lucky, you might spot a crocodile in the nearby San Carlos river. Our family room was clean and comfortable, though a short walk from the restaurant. a recommendable place to unwind without luxury.
